Response: A human woman, an old flame actually, asked me, How do I find my inner mermaid?" I know five human women who have fully accomplished this so that their auras are identical to the fairy mermaids of the astral plane. Though they have never been to the astral realm of mermaids, like a Jew landing in Israel for the first time, they now possess dual citizenship and belong to both realms--human and mermaid. How they have accomplished this is hard to understand. I wrote a story of how Serena Brooke, the pro surfer accomplished this. But that does not answer your question. A professional director who makes famous documentaries asked me about how to do a documentary on mermaids. I wrote her an outline with three parts. In the first part she starts where people are. For me Hannah is a combination of a human dressing up in a Halloween mermaid outfit, of being an Olympic athlete, and the reincarnation of Jacques-Yves Cousteau with his Discovery Channel kind of adventures. In her next life no doubt Hannah will be a mermaid-human hybrid having a dual passport.
The second part of the video on mermaids would review artists who write about mermaids and do paintings and photography. This is art which is different from the performing arts in the first part. Art is more an inner vision brought to life. It is a slightly different process--more introverted.
And in the third part you cover people who are wacko mystics like myself who have a full fledged esoteric/hermetic/magical vision of what a mermaid is--a kind of feminine personality that has never actually appeared before in world literature. When humans write about mermaids or make movies about them they tend to view them as part human woman. They are nothing like human women. They have no ego, no jealousy, no inhibitions, and for example they say things like "I have never had a mean thought in my life" or "Time is not real. There is no 'I was' or 'I will be' only 'I am.'"
In this way in a documentary you can move between familiar to artistic vision and then to pure speculation on what human beings are capable of becoming--genuinely empathic from the core of their being.

The problem for a human woman in even considering or contemplating connecting to the mystical mermaid is that the mermaids are pure femininity. They rarely if ever embrace causes such as feminism. They don't think in thoughts so the idea of attaching their personality ego identity to a "cause" for the sake of enhancing their "role" in society so as to further social justice makes absolutely no sense to them.
It is not that they are opposed to it. They simply do not comprehend it. Water in each moment flows so it is forever new and forever innocent. The very essence and uniqueness of this planet is the water element. Water controls everything on earth. Humans do not grasp this much less embrace the power of the feminine in its form of pure, elemental, primordial receptivity.
If there were a dial with water/magnetism on one end and fire/electricity on the other end then the dial reading for human civilization would be almost at the very extreme of fire/electricity. Becoming more empathic and receptive is about the last thing human beings are interested in.
All the same, if you feel free inside and love beauty and wonder, then you can pursue anything you wish in life. Mermaids were around long before the human race came into existence and they will be incarnating in the form of whatever "advanced" life forms inhabit the earth long after we are gone.
