Neptune’s Dream

Jove and Pluto are not my siblings

The dreams of the sea are greater than these

I am more than past or future

More than mortal or divinity

You see waves and white caps

You note tides and currents

I see stars and galaxies

Infinity flows through me

No religion comprehends who I am

Yet there are those among you who dream my dreams

Do you not know my children?

When they relax

Time vanishes

When they feel

They feel what others feel

Without restraint or limitation

And when they love

They love freely without taking or possessing

Like me, at the core of their being,

They are one with the universe.

How can this be?

The waters of the earth flow through their souls

And for them

Every moment of time is both sensual and divine

Like me

Their feelings extend to infinity
